Book Review: No Remorse by MaryLynn Bast
This use to be on my old book review blog and since that blog is no longer active, I am moving the posts here. I love supporting other authors. ***Disclaimer: I received this book for free to review. I was not paid for this review.*** Reading the first chapter I had a hard time finding any sympathy or connection with the heroine. She’s a werewolf that kills humans. Not a typical shifter heroine. Most heroines that are shifters that I’ve read or written don’t kill people. So I had a difficult time relating to her or liking her at this point. Even if the guy she kills was kind of…

Review: The Light of Day by Kristen Kehoe
This use to be on my old book review blog and since that blog is no longer active, I am moving the posts here. I love supporting other authors. ***Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book to review.*** The Light of Day is a beautiful story of two completely broken people who find a way to accept one another and help in the healing process. I got sucked in to the character driven story and just hated to let them go when I hit the final page. I laughed with Cora and Jake and I cried with them. It takes a special kind of story to tug at…

Time to Work
It’s been a long time since I put pen to paper, so to speak, and worked on a novel. I’ve let life get in the way of chasing my dreams for too long. I’ve put off finishing The Awakening for much longer than I should have. So I have set myself a goal to finish this book. I’ve given myself 3 months to get the first draft complete. Today I bought a brand new notebook and sticky notes and printed out some plotting pages. I am going to redo my outline since that book needs a bit of an overhaul and get it done. I’m actually excited to write again…
